Mom’s Bread Pudding

2 cups milk
6 eggs
1 cup sugar
6 pieces bread
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup raisins

Beat eggs, sugar and milk together.  Tear bread into pieces.  Add bread and all remaining ingredients and mix well.  Put mixture in 6 to 8 cup casserole dish.  Set dish in pan of water.  Bake covered for 30 minuets at 350°.  Remove cover and bake additional 30 minuets.  Pudding is done when inserted knife comes out clean.
